  1. Place the cursor at the bottom of the cover page, and from theInsert menu, select Break, and then SectionBreak (Next Page).
  2. Place your cursor on the first page of your document (not thecover page). From the Insert menu, choose PageNumbers....
  3. In the dialog box that appears, make sure that the box next toShow Number on First Page is not checked. Then clickOK.
  4. With the cursor on the second page of your document, from theInsert menu, choose Page Numbers....
  5. In the dialog box that appears, in the 'Alignment' and 'Position'sections, choose the location where the page number will appear on thedocument. Make sure that the box next to Show Number on FirstPageis checked.
  6. Click the Format... button.
  7. In the dialog box that appears, go to the 'Page Numbering'section, click Start at:, and type1 (the number 1) in the field. ClickOK twice. Your document is ready to print.
